EFG is leading the way towards new and personal solutions within free seating
Just in time for Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2014, EFG takes the intelligent office to another level by introducing brand new ways within interior design technology to increase motivation and productivity.
By integrating the very latest technology within interior design solutions in a time where wellness is more important than ever, EFG´s latest release is benchmarking a future where design and technology interact with brand new objectives. This is a much needed initiative as the permanent, individual work stations are phased out when free seating become close to standard and we need to maintain a productive and healthy work environment.
During the fair, EFG will show how to integrate individual needs and the new way of working with intelligent technique that consequently improves the free seating flow at the office. Visitors will be able to try out the technique that provides the employee with an overview of available workstations and access to a booking system that locates the nearest free spot.
A RFID card then activates the work station table where all personal adjustments such as optimal heights for seating and standing are stored in the employee profile in a smartphone or tablet app. The app will post daily reminders on when to sit or stand up. The RFID card is also used to lock and unlock the employee personal storage unit.
