Information about cookies on EFG's web site

25th July 2003 a new law came into force (SFS nr: 2003:389) regarding electronic communication. In accordance with this law a visitor to a specific site must be informed that the web site uses cookies. The visitor shall also be given the possibility to avoid cookies.

A cookie is a file that contains identification for a web reader, that information is then saved on the visitor's computer. This is so that the web site will recognise the visitor and deliver the right information quickly. For example, it can be used to recognise a user name and password for logging in to a specific site.

EFG's web site only uses cookies for statistical reason to see how many visitors enter the site. No personal information is saved. You can therefore close your web reader for cookies without disturbing any of the functions available on the website.
