    This year the University of Salford is joining forces with the International Disability Management Standards Council UK to bring you a dynamic programme that will bring together a range of key stakeholders all working to keep people happy, healthy and occupationally productive.

    More than 130 million days are lost to sickness absence every year in the UK, and working age ill health has an annual cost to the economy of more than £100 billion. Unless addressed appropriately, the World Health Organisation has identified that 12 billion working days – or 50 million years of work – will be lost to depression and anxiety disorders each year between now and 2030. Hence, along with a range of government strategies to support those with ill health to return to the workplace, there is a growing focus on wellness at work, in order to improve peoples’ lives and raise the level of economic performance in industry.

    Join us for Work, Health and Wellbeing Conference 2016, where reputed speakers will discuss the importance of employee health and wellbeing to business success; strategic and organisational approaches for health and wellbeing; the challenges of fluctuating and long term conditions in the workplace; supporting an ageing workforce; global issues for mental health and work; and the value of work participation in rehabilitation.

    Clerkenwell is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, making it truly one of the most important design hubs in the world. To celebrate this rich and diverse community, Clerkenwell Design Week has created a showcase of leading UK and international brands and companies presented in a series of showroom events, exhibitions and special installations that take place across the area.

    Celebrating it’s 7th year in May 2016 (24-26) the award-winning CDW has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival and annually attracts the international design community to this small area of London for three days of exciting events. In 2015, the design community flocked to Clerkenwell with 35,414 attendees and over 300 exhibiting brands.

    This year you can visit EFG at PR13 - PROJECT which will be staged in St James’s Church Garden. EFG will showcase our EFG Create designed by the talented Jonas Forsman alongside other leading international brands presenting furniture, lighting and contemporary product design amongst the beautiful green space in this historic part of Clerkenwell.

    NWUPC are celebrating their 40th anniversary, and we are delighted to be joining them as a preferred supplier on the NWUPC framework at their Annual Conference in Liverpool, where it all began in 1976. The Consortium was originally established from an initiative by the University of Liverpool bringing together a number of North West Universities.

     

    The NWUPC Annual Conference is FREE to attend for all of  their members. The event is the perfect opportunity to find out about the latest developments in procurement, as well as a chance to catch up with colleagues and meet with recommended suppliers such as EFG!

     
    The supplier exhibition is an integral part of the Conference and it is your chance to meet with suppliers face to face and learn more about what services they can provide.
