The Bank - a focal point for community

Challenges, insight & solution
The main challenge in the Sparebanken project was the maximum utilisation of the available space since the specifactions required to accommodate large numbers, not just employees but also agencies previously situated at three different locations. Naturally, these different people have different needs and therefore it was challenging to provide interior solutions that supports their different needs and at the same time supports a collective culture and way of working. Additionally, the interior concept should be in line with the bank's overall communication concept and image.

With the customers in mind, the arrival area and reception was kept open and welcoming where the customers easily could access help from employees. Private meeting rooms were a must, both for customers meeting employees as well as employees working together. A balance between open areas and small rooms was created in order to use the available space in an effective way.

The project was executed well in close cooperation with the architect. The focus was on quality, integrate and enhance the image of Sparebanken.
