EFG recognises its responsibility for the future - and for the environment of this and coming generations. This means that EFG will always

	at the very least, follow applicable legislation and regulations.
	seek efficient use of resources in production, with increased recycling of all types of material.
	seek the use of renewable raw materials.
	seek to include a life cycle perspective in all our operations.
	seek constantly to reduce waste and emissions in all our operations.
	work on constant improvements in line with our established environmental goals. We are certified according to ISO 14001.

At EFG, we have worked on environmental issues for a long time, striving to reduce our impact on the environment. For even greater focus on environmental issues, we initiated a comprehensive assessment project in 2007, which will lead to new, concrete measures.

The goal is to examine the entire process with the focus on the environmental influence, from the creation of a product to the end of its life span. This means reviewing everything from the choice of raw materials, manufacture and usage, to recycling. We also see that purchasing emission allowances can be a part of the overall measures to achieve climate neutrality for EFG European Furniture Group AB.
