University of Southern Denmark

We now have less room than we did before, so space is used maximally around the university. Most engineering students have long working hours, so they a comfortable space to relax. The lounge furniture is very comfortable, and thus occupied most of the time. We primarily chose furniture in gray and black, complementing the interior walls of the house that are bursting with colour.

Attractive and flexible study environment

Challenges and solutions
The challenge in this project was to create an attractive and inspiring environment for students as well as for research- and teaching staff. This had to be achieved on a smaller space that the faculty had previously occupied.

With the help of flexible interior solutions built around well-designed and carefully selected furniture, the faculty now utilises it´s modern spaces as effectively as possible, and can now welcome more students per teacher.
